Army Innovative Readiness Training Program
Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to Army Reserve Medical Command’s 7239th Medical Support Unit in partnership with Fort Peck Indian Health Service, will be offering health care services at the Chief Redstone Health Clinic (Wolf Point) and Verne E Gibbs Clinic (Poplar). A little over 25 medical personnel will support the 22-bed community hospital located at Poplar, and 10 other medical personnel will be supporting the 32-bed community hospital located in Wolf Point. These Soldiers will support this mission from 15-29 JUL 2017. These clinics support an estimated population of over 8,000 residents. The 35 medical professionals include Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Dentists, Dental Specialists, Nurses, Optical Lab Specialists, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Tech’s and Lab Tech’s assigned to the 7239th Medical Support Unit based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Medical services provided include general exams, school exams and physicals. Dental services provided include exams, x-rays, general cleaning and extractions.
