Autoexec.cfg Counter Strike Source

For Counter-Strike: Source on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Help with autoexec.cfg'.

Originally posted by:autoexec.cfg is an official file, no way to get banned for that. The file may be used by users, but it's not used by Valve, while it's not even being created after fresh CSS installation. It's obvious he was talking about things, that could be pasted into the file (.anyway, there is nothing you could paste there, that would make you VAC banned). It is official, like the userconfig.cfg Check the valve.rc file in the cfg folder, you can modify it (with a text editor) to add new names of files that will act like an autoexec. Userconfig.cfg file doesn't exist at all in the game, while it's a CUSTOM file, that has to be created by users, when needed. Usually people are creating autoexec.cfg OR userconfig.cfg, while there is really no need to use them both, because the config's content counts, not the file name.

Valve.rc is no more supported after the Steam-Pipe update, so you're just embarrassing yourself more and more. Art Of Prometheus Pdf Printer.
