I just happened to be looking around in the game's files for any trace of a save file (which happened to be in My Documents) earlier today. Being the nerd that I am, I didn't stop looking through the 'base.scs' file, which seemed to be where all the game's resources were, and found that there was some pretty interesting stuff there.

The location of the game's assets are much like Minecraft: they are all packed inside one 'base' file, which can be easily opened with a program like WinRar. Instead of finding class files in there, however, I found mainly a lot of.sii and.dds files. The.sii files can be opened with Notepad and their function seems to be storing properties. The.dds files I still need to research, but they seem to be accompanied with the.sii's and may have a similar purpose. I also found a lot of model and texture files and various other extensions, and some, to my luck, were openable with Visual Studio (such as the.def files, which are 'Export Definition Files', and store some of the buttons' text).

My point is here, a lot of people seem to think this game is very simple and not exactly the best bus driving game either. (I didn't care because I bought the bundle before Bus Driver came out on Steam so I got it for free.) They could at least get possibly a few more hours worth of enjoyment if the community made mods. Also, for players that want to make some sort of modification but don't want to learn a programming language, the many configuration files lying around make it easy to mess around with the game's properties. I found many vehicle AI files which could either be used to make the game hilariously chaotic or to make the drivers *cough* less stupid *cough*.

There's even a file that contains all the button and title screen text, located. It has very detailed instructions on how to modify it, which were probably meant for translators SCS hired.
